Our Trip to the Cape

My mom and I took a trip to Cape Cod this past weekend and had a great time. It is really beautiful there! We had the best weather on our last day so we spent as much time as we could at the beach. This particular beach is in Wellfleet. Gorgeous!

The beachcomber is a restaurant/music venue that opened in 1978. We arrived at 11am on a Monday and the parking lot was already full. We parked almost a mile away and walked. Totally worth it!!!

We didn't have much time at the beach so we only put our feet in the water and it is freezing!!

Not smart to leave your back to the water for very long ;)

This pic is from Marthas Vineyard. It's so pretty there! We also had the best brunch on the island.

Marthas Vineyard is known for their gingerbread cottages.  They are so cute and have adorable names.

A dog/cat boutique. I brought Lucy back a lighthouse shaped treat. She was happy.

The JFK museum. Very cool and only takes about 20 minutes to see.

Dinner at the Landfall Restaurant. I tried scallops for the first time, but wasn't impressed. I'm so glad mom and I were able to take this trip of a lifetime!
