Jason asked me to marry him at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. 9 days later, Emily was born. January 2005 was a great month for our family!! I surprised Jason with lunch at The Pineapple Room today, and we took some pics by the reflecting pool where he proposed.
Jason had my mom, his mom and sister standing above us taking pictures when he proposed. I am near sighted so I didnt realize it was them and I said "oh good, some people took pictures, we can ask them for a copy!" Good times. This place is really gorgeous especially in the summer, but I told Jason today I like going in the winter because its so quiet and theres hardly anyone there.

How wonderful! it's funny- there are those dates in your life that are forever imprinted on your heart...makes that day "special" for the rest of your life! What a breathtaking and beautiful place.
