Celebrating 4 Blessed Years

Last Thursday Jason and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary by taking a trip to Lakemont, GA. We did some hiking at Tallulah Gorge State Park and stayed overnight at Lake Rabun Hotel.

Tallulah Gorge has some gorgeous waterfalls. We had to walk down(then back up) about 530 steps which isnt a good idea after you have turkey and dressing for lunch! I thought Jason was going to have to carry me back up.

The suspension bridge was pretty intense. Of course, Jason was shaking it the entire time and I was having a panic attack.

Shocker! Jason found a cat outside the hotel.

Enjoying some wine on the deck, It was a bit chilly in the mountains.
View from the deck.

The hotel.

This lake was across from our hotel so from the porch we had this gorgeous view.

I know I always talk about how different Jason and I are for example, I love the Crimson Tide but he's a UT fan, I voted for the Great American Hero, aka, John McCain, while Jason was on the "change train" (has it left the station yet?), but for a change I thought I'd share some of our similarities. We both:

Love animals, and are foverever bringing home strays.
Love the Titans. Sad times right now.
Like to read.
Love to hike and camp.
Think Nancy Pelosi is a HUGE liar, but that is where our political similarities end!
Love Mexican food.
Are very competitive and try to beat each other at everything.
Love movies.
Have Type A personailities, but he has the patience of a saint and I do not!
Like the Chicago Cubs.
Love Jamaica.

The number 1 thing we have in common though is how much we love each other. I thank God for Jason everyday and Im so proud to call him my husband!!

What a sweet post! Happy Anniversary!! You made me laugh about Jason liking the change train. Yeah, not so sure its ever going to leave the station!
We went to Tallulah Gorge with my family when I was pregnant with Carter and walked all those steps! Its beautiful though. Did you read about that dare devil guy that walked a tight rope across it? Crazy!

Happy Anniversary love birds! 4 years? Is that all? Haha! What a romantic way to celebrate, I will conveniently leave your blog open when I go to bed tonight! And by the way, I think Nancy Pelosi is not only a liar, but a great big ignorant "B!"

Happy Anniversary!! Great pics! It truly looks beautiful up there. I hope you have many more wonderful years together! BTW, I don't have enough time or writing space to share my thoughts on the "change train".
