Our Summer Vacation

We all had a great time at Tybee Island/Savannah, GA. The weather was gorgeous except for one night it stormed pretty bad. I loved the beach, even though its no Gulf!

The sun was still really bright when we took these pics so we all look squinty.

Our attempt at a family photo. Emily was NOT feeling her outfit so she wasnt going to smile. My mom and I found her a cute dress in Savannah and she wore it for half the trip. Thats what she wanted to wear, so we should've just let her.

Our room at Savannah Beach Inn.

Savannah Beach Inn.

Emily loved running in the ocean.

We had dinner at Paula Deen's restaurant and loved it. Other than my Nanny's cooking, it was the best meal I'd ever had.

We climbed 187 steps to the top of the lighthouse and didnt pass out in the 95 degree heat.

Notice how relaxed Jason is and how scared I look. I didnt realize I would be so freaked out about the height until I got up there!

Jason reads all kinds of pirate books, so when he saw this restaurant he was all about it. It was a bit pricey, but my crab cakes were delicious!

Emily loved the pool. She wanted to go everyday. Even when we were driving home on Wednesday she kept asking if we were going to the pool! She spent 45 minutes one day trying to dump my mom off her float. It was hilarious! She never dumped her though.

I can never relax at the pool when Jason is around.

The first 2 nights of the trip, we had to stay at the Tybee Island B&B because the innkeeper at Savannah Beach B&B double booked us. We liked the first one better, but it was slightly more expensive so we had to deal.

My evil plan to invade China has begun. I was only able to recruit a 4 year old so it may take a while.

The 4 year old had a short attention span so China has been put on hold...for now.

Chillaxing!

Great pictures! Looks like you guys had a great time. I love how you have a death grip on the railing at the top of the lighthouse. The pic of Emily in her sandchair is too cute!
