Mothers Day Weekend

This weekend was packed with Mothers Day activities. On Saturday, my mom and I went to the 5th annual Mother Daughter Tiffany Tea given by the Living Word Community Church. It was held at the new symphony hall downtown. They had it outdoors in one of the gardens. My mom and I had never been so we got there early and snuck in the actual hall to check it out. As you can see it is gorgeous! My moms best friend Tina attends the Living Word church and she invited us to the tea. We had such a great time. The weather was beautiful and the speaker was very interesting. Her name is Jeannie Cochran DuBose (she was very southern!) and she wrote a book called The Mother/Daughter Dance. She read it during her speach and Im sure many mothers and daughters can relate.

Saturday evening we made our way to the 'Boro for a cookout with Jason's parents. Kim came down from Florida for the weekend. It was great to see her!

Jason's sweet Grandma. Please keep her in your prayers as she is having alot of back problems.

Today we went to church and then over to Nannys. Surprise! So many of my pics are from her house. My fabulous mama with her fabulous mama!

I love this picture! I cant believe she actually smiled and looked at the camera!

Emily took this last pic. Perhaps we have a budding photographer in the family!!

I havent posted our movie reviews in a while so I thought I would. There Will Be Blood was amazing. Daniel Day Lewis is extremely talented and I didnt want the movie to end! Shocker, Jason didnt really like it. We also watched Juno which is really cute and funny (Jason didnt care for it) and Into the Wild Jason loved but I didnt like it so much.
