This is a pic
of 2 of the 3 kids we took shopping at Walmart. They loved
riding on the bus. These kids were extremely well behaved
all day!
Our next stop was College Heights Baptist Church in Hendersonville. What an amazing group of
volunteers and the pastor seemed really sweet. They donated food for 370+ kids, their gymnasium, and lots of time. They also had a band playing Christmas Carols. Some of the church youth were dressed as elves. The kids loved dancing with them!
Chowing down at church. These kids are siblings and Im not sure the criteria for being chosen but Im sure it has something to do with family income. This year each child received $175 to shop with at Walmart. I dont have any of them shopping b/c I didnt have a memory card for our new camera. Take my word for it, they went crazy! I shopped with the girl, Mati, and she bought a ton of clothes and some toys. It was a great experience for the kids as well as myself!

They have a benefit concert every year and my mom won tickets last year. It was too late for me to sign up then so I had to wait until this year.
This is so amazing, Heather! You are an angel and I swear, when I hear stories like this, it warms my heart and reminds me of what Christmas is all about. I would LOVE to be a part of such a neat opportunity!!!
Jason, I know what you're thinking... I am totally PMSing and rattling off some hormonal "bs," but I really meant what I said. Now give this woman a kid!!!
